HOW TO USE TRANSFER PAPER

Preparation:

Condition your clay and roll it out onto a smooth tile surface.

Use an acrylic roller to press the clay firmly onto the tile.

Place the transfer paper with the colored/printed side facing down on the clay.

Gently roll over the paper with an acrylic roller so the design fully adheres to the clay.

Removing the backing paper:

Hold the tile with the clay slab under a very light stream of running water.

The paper backing will begin to dissolve and rinse away.

Use your fingertip to softly rub off any leftover paper until the surface feels smooth.

Avoid pressing too hard, as this could distort the design.

Pat dry with a paper towel.

Allow the clay slab to dry completely before cutting. Do not cure the clay until it is fully dry.

Sealing:

To protect the transferred design, apply a sealant: use resin for a glossy finish or a matte sealant for a non-shiny finish.

Tips for best results:

Keep in mind that colors may shift slightly during baking.

For the most accurate colors and a better result, use white or light-colored clay.
