The retaining clip slides into the holder after the letters have been arranged. It keeps every character securely in position, making it easier to lift, align, and press the complete word evenly into the clay.

🔄 IMPORTANT: THE LETTERS ARE MIRRORED

The stamp faces are intentionally mirrored so the completed impression appears correctly when pressed into clay.

When creating a complete word with the handle, arrange the character blocks in reverse order. For example, insert Y–A–D into the handle to create the correctly readable word DAY in the clay.

This is a normal and necessary feature of alphabet stamps and is not a design error.

💡 HOW TO USE THE ALPHABET STAMPS

Condition and roll your clay to an even thickness.
Select the letters, numbers, or symbols required for your message.
Place the characters into the holder in reverse order.
Insert the retaining clip to lock the characters securely inside the holder.
Check that the complete word is aligned and that none of the letters can move.
Lightly dust the clay and stamp faces with cornflour or baby powder if the clay is soft or sticky.
Hold the handle and press the complete message straight down using firm, even pressure.
Avoid rocking or sliding the stamps, as this may blur the impression.
Lift the holder carefully to reveal the finished name, word, or message.
Test the stamps on a spare piece of clay first to determine the best pressure for your chosen clay type and thickness.

The following settings are suggested as a starting point and may require adjustment depending on your printer, filament, and slicer:

• 0.4 mm nozzle

• 0.16–0.20 mm layer height

• 20–30% infill

• PLA filament recommended

• Supports are typically not required

• Select Arachne as the Wall Generator in Bambu Studio

• Enable Thin Walls when using another compatible slicer

For especially crisp lettering, use a well-calibrated printer with good first-layer accuracy and reduced print speed for the small character details.

These files are designed for filament printers and have not been tested on resin printers. Basic knowledge of 3D printing and slicing software is required.
