🖨️ RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

The following settings are a reliable starting point and may require adjustment depending on your printer, filament, and slicer:

• FDM/filament 3D printer

• 0.4 mm nozzle

• 0.20 mm layer height; 0.16 mm may also be used

• 20–30% infill

• Gyroid infill at 30% is recommended

• Print flat with the cutting edge facing upward

• Supports are typically not required

• Select Arachne as the Wall Generator in Bambu Studio

• Enable Thin Wall printing when using another compatible slicer

• PLA is recommended; ABS may also be used with suitable settings

These files are designed for filament printers and have not been tested on resin printers. Basic knowledge of 3D printing and slicer software is required.

💡 TIPS FOR BEAUTIFUL CLAY RESULTS

Condition and roll your clay to an even thickness. Lightly dust the surface with cornflour or baby powder to help prevent clay from sticking around the detailed snowflake pattern.

Press the cutter straight down using firm, even pressure across the entire arch. Avoid rocking it from side to side, as this may distort the curved outline, flat base, or hanging hole.

For very soft or sticky clay, chill it briefly before cutting. Any clay remaining around the smaller snowflake details can be removed carefully with a fine needle tool.

After baking, highlight the snowflake with acrylic paint, metallic wax, mica powder, or liquid clay. Gold and silver accents look especially beautiful against white, icy blue, navy, burgundy, emerald, or translucent clay.
